Juanita Faye Bowman Franklin, 84, of Jefferson City passed away peacefully at Jefferson Park at White Pine on November 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Lucy Yates Bowman, siblings (and spouses) Jack Bowman, Charles Bowman, Frances (Leon) Myers, Loy (MaLois) Bowman, Anna Lee (Bill) DeLozier, Douglass (Dixie) Bowman, brother-in-law Ben Franklin. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Debbie Franklin Toby; grandson, Jimmy (Jesika) Toby; great-grandchildren, Renesmee, Raiden, Kaiden, and Konrad Toby; sisters, Linda Bowman Franklin and Wilma (N.A.) Bowman Allen; bonus sister, Judy (Dennis) Raper; several nieces, nephews and numerous special friends. Juanita was a lifelong member of George Street United Methodist Church and a member of the Jefferson High School Class of 1959. She worked for Magnavox for 32 years. Juanita was an avid bowler for many years.
The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 with the service to follow at 7:00p.m. with Rev. Darrell Chambers and Rev. Kathy Waters Lafollette officiating. The family will gather at Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 10:45a.m. for an 11:00a.m. graveside service on Thursday, November 14, 2024. The family wishes to thank Amedisys Home Health, Smokey Mountain Hospice, and Jefferson Park at White Pine for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to George Street United Women of Faith (PO Box 615, Jefferson City, TN 37760).
