Juanita Widger, 84, of Kingston, Michigan passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at her home.
Juanita was born on February 27, 1940 in Marlette, Michigan to the late Robert and Greeta (Prowse) Ross. She attended Marlette High School, graduating with the class of 1958. Juanita married Fred Widger on September 26, 1959. She worked in various roles at Marlette Hospital for 30 years, the last being the office manager in Physical Therapy. Juanita enjoyed her yard, flower gardens and reading. She and Fred also loved camping and antiquing all over the state.
Juanita is survived by her children, Tracy Smith, Jeffery (Loretha) Widger, Bradley (Virginia) Widger, Amy (Doug) Gilley, and Rob Widger; grandchildren, Heather Stine, Nathan (Christina) Harneck, Krystal (Charles) Khun, Monique Widger, Tenee Harris, Jeffery Widger Jr., Grant (Alyssa) Widger, Lauren (Mike) Battaglia, Berlin Waun (Phil Szcygiel), James Barden, Bailey (Vic) Sheridan, Emma Widger (Josh Weber) and Kyle Widger; twenty two great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; cousins, Dorothy Kelly, Helene Lick and Faye Adam. The family would like to thank her special friends, Karla Lyons, Karen Peterson and Virginia Finkbeiner for supporting her and being there during her illness.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred who passed away on November 30, 2008; brothers, Robert Ross and Richard Ross.
