We find comfort in the Red Letters of John 14:1-4 where Jesus Comforts His Disciples with these words:
"Do not let your hearts be troubled."
Trust in God; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms;
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I am going there to prepare a place for you.
3And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back and take you to be with me
that you also may be where I am.
4You know the way to the place where I am going.
Jude's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family, church, and work. He married the love of his life, Beth Logan, on a beautiful spring day, March 13, 2020, in Huntington Beach, California. Their union was a testament to love, partnership, and mutual respect. In 2021, seeking a new chapter in their lives, Jude and Beth moved to Royse City, Texas where they made their home and continued to build their life together.
Jude's Faith was the cornerstone of his life. He was a dedicated drummer for the Worship Team at Seabreeze Church in Huntington Beach, where he combined his musical talent with his spiritual devotion.
His drumming was not merely a performance; it was an offering of praise and a source of joy for him and the congregation. Soon after he and Beth moved to Royse City, they found Ridin' High Cowboy Church and they knew they were home. Jude soon joined the Men's Study on Saturday mornings where he met and connected with some fine men as they studied the Bible together.
A true patriot and a red-blooded American, Jude's love for his country was evident in his everyday life. He was in several group chats with his lifelong friends, and with family, where they discussed everything from politics and the direction of the country, to scripture, to funny memes of how things used to be. He was a big sports fan, with a particular affinity for football - The Houston Texans were his team! - as well as basketball, reveling in the spirit of competition and camaraderie. He played football at the prestigious and dominating Mater Dei High School in Southern California, then he continued his education at GoldenWest College where he also played and shared his enthusiasm with friends and family.
Beyond his public endeavors, Jude was a man of many personal interests and hobbies. He had a profound love for playing the drums, a passion that he pursued throughout his life. He was a member of several bands over the years, but his heart was the Worship Team at Seabreeze Church in Huntington Beach.
Professionally, Jude was highly respected in his role as an Appraisal Specialist at CarMax, where he worked from February 14, 2017, until his passing. His integrity, expertise, and friendly demeanor made him a valued colleague and a mentor to many within the organization.
Church and faith were central to Jude's existence, providing him with guidance and strength. Traveling was another joy for Jude, as it allowed him to explore new places and create lasting memories with Beth and their loved ones. Above all, spending quality time with his family was Jude's greatest pleasure, cherishing every moment spent with them. Jude's legacy is one of love, dedication, and service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide those he has left behind. As we remember Jude, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the American Patriotic Conservative Values he held dear.
