Judith Lynne Adams

Judith Lynne Adams, age 83, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Freehold, NJ.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, to the late Gustav and Ann Rastak, Judy lived most of her life in East Brunswick, NJ. She then moved to Edison with her husband Howard in 2007. A graduate of Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School, Judy worked as a secretary for Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, Judy was the owner of her family-run luncheonette in East Brunswick, called "Center Luncheonette."

Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Howard Adams; her two children, Beth Meyer and Gregg Ciesielski; her grandchildren, Joshua Meyer, Ian Meyer and his wife Vanessa Marti-Meyer, Shane Ciesielski and his wife Vanessa, Quinn Ciesielski, and Grayson Ciesielski; her great-grandson Theo Tomas Ciesielski; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will take place between the hours of 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. A Chapel Service will be held at 6:00 PM during the visitation at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Christopher Sadlo. A repast will be held immediately following the service at the home of Judy's daughter, Beth Meyer, at 20 Brookdale Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's memory may be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
