Judith Ann Kuperavage, 77, of Tuscarora, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025, with her beloved husband of 58 years, Ronald J. "Butchy" Kuperavage by her side
Born in Coaldale on Tuesday, February 3, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Esther (Bridyham) Davies.
Judy was a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Judy dedicated many years of her career as a secretary to the Superintendent at the school district. She also applied her skills to assist her husband, "Butchy," with the bookkeeping for their businesses, Tuscarora Mining and Bell Corporation.
Judy and Butch were best friends who shared a life full of mutual interests. They cherished their time camping at Thousand Trails in Hershey and enjoyed polka and country line dancing. Knowing Judy loved to dance, Butch bought her her own ballroom, "Lakeside Ballroom" in Barnesville. A stunning Duo, Butch and Judy proudly hosted many events, donating the use of the hall so many local organizations could prosper. Judy took full control of the hall operations.Judy's close friend Kathy Patterson introduced her to quilting, encouraging her to join the Schuylkill County Quilters Guild. Judy made many quilts entering some in the Schuylkill County Fair where she won a number of awards.
In addition to Butch, Judy is also survived by; her brother, Joseph Kuhn and his wife Dorene; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Private Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
Interment took place at Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
