Judith Ann Bartlett, born on July 4, 1953, in Pittsfield, Illinois, passed away on February 4, 2026, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Judith led a life filled with warmth, dedication, and a profound love for her family and animals.
Her career path led her to becoming a beloved dog groomer at PetSmart in Warner Robins, Georgia, where she formed bonds with both pets and their owners. Additionally, her passion for animals was evident in her work with harness horses at the Hawkinsville Training Facility, showcasing her gentle nature and dedication to caring for animals.
Judith found immense joy in her hobbies, often expressing her creativity in the kitchen. She cherished the moments spent teaching her grandchildren to cook, passing down family traditions in the form of cherished recipes. Judith’s special bond with her pets, particularly her cat, Ms. Kitty, added a layer of joy to her life during the years. Surrounded by her family, she embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories, especially treasured moments with her grandchildren.
Judith is survived by her sons, David (Melody) Mullis of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and Charlie Mullis of Hawkinsville, Georgia; her daughter, Heather (Brian) Owens of Hawkinsville, Georgia; her brother, Greg Bartlett; her sister, Christie Bartlett; her grandchildren, Damion (Chandler) Mullis, Dagan Mullis, Drake Mullis, Royce (Emilie) Owens, and Belle (Ricky) White; and her great-grandchildren, Gracelynn Owens, Jason Owens, Kinslee Mullis, and Adalynn Mullis.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Edgar Bartlett, and her mother, Opal Mae Altizer Bartlett.
In her passing, Judith leaves behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and love for her family and animals. Services will be held privately, reflecting the cherished memories that will forever reside in the hearts of those who loved her.
