Judith Belew Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jun. 12, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Belew, who left us on June 8, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on December 27, 1953, in the charming town of Mariemont, Ohio, Judy spent her formative years in a close-knit community that shaped her into the kind and creative soul we all cherished.
Judy was a true lover of crafts and sewing, skillfully turning fabric into treasures. She found joy in reading, always eager to learn something new, writing, and poetry. Her passion for traveling and comic books during her younger years hinted at a playful spirit that never really faded. Her love for nature's beauty and sounds as well as a wide array of music became a soundtrack to many family gatherings, where she could be found sharing laughter and stories with those she adored.
She poured her heart into her work as a business owner and customer service, where her warmth and friendly demeanor made an impact on everyone she encountered. Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister as well, taking immense pride in her family. She leaves behind her beloved son, Nathan Belew; her cherished daughter, Juli Belew; her loving grandson, Jason Merrell; her devoted sister, Kassandra Smith; her one of a kind sister Dianna Fryman and her caring mother, Emma Mozena as well as 20 nephews and nieces, and many cousins and friends. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit in their hearts.
Judy's life was punctuated by moments spent with family, creating lasting memories filled with love, laughter, and the kind of joy that only those who are close to us can bring. She reminded us that life's simplest pleasures could bring the greatest happiness.
We'll miss Judy terribly, but we find solace in knowing her spirit lives on in each of us and in the love that binds our family.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband David Belew, father Robert Mozena, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.
