Judith Bernitt Obituary
She was born on February 27, 1940, in Kewanee, IL, to George and Helen (Trent) Craig. She married her loving husband, Thomas John Bernitt, on June 13, 1959, in Kewanee, IL. He passed away on November 18, 2007.
She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judy had worked in the Admissions Office at Illinois Central College. She was a member of Willow Hill United Methodist Church in East Peoria, IL.
According to her wishes, no services will be held and cremation rights have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to the Center for Prevention of Abuse, 720 West Joan Court, Peoria, IL 61614 or online at https://www.centerforpreventionofabuse.org/how-to-help/monetary-donations/.
