JUDITH L. BOOTHE (nee Hisey) age 85; beloved wife of the late Robert Sr.,loving mother of Laura Verdone (Greg), Pamela Hannold (Jerry, deceased), Jennifer Bistok Reed, and Amy Bistok, devoted grandmother of Timothy, Justine, Harrison, Tristan, Elizabeth, and Noah; cherished daughter of the late Winton and Nina Hisey (nee Allen); dearest sister of Greta "Joan" Licht ( Jerry, deceased) and Virginia "Ginger" Adamowicz (Raymond, Sr.). Favorite Aunt and Great Aunt of many.

Judy was born October 9, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, the baby of her family. She stayed a sprite. Known for her impish smile and easy, hearty laugh, Judy was quick to make and keep friends.

Judy's childhood took her to Alabama and back; always proud to call Ohio home. She was a Rainbow Girl.

She was a 1956 graduate from Collinwood High School; she began her professional career at Nela Park working for General Electric, eventually calling Wickliffe home. She went on to Shaker Savings bank and then Fred Stecker Oldsmobile was her last employer.

Judy was not only a beauty, she had an impressive eye for beauty and art; which led to her passion for the field of photography, for which she had true skill. She also treasured her four dogs.

Her outgoing and friendly nature was well suited to her adventurous spirit, traveling with her husband, taking cruises, knowing no strangers wherever she wandered.

Judy greatly enjoyed entertainment, live productions, theatre, music, shows, and events. She also greatly loved entertaining those she loved; holidays, graduations, birthdays, commencements. Judy delighted in hosting her family and friends, cooking, gathering, laughing, sharing. She created many memories for family and friends to cherish. The Courvoisier kid knew how to party. She also enjoyed an occasional Rusty Nail.

Judy was many things: kind, lovely, sweet, funny, gregarious, fierce, a warrior, hardworking, indefatigable, fearless, loyal, loving, gentle, strong, intelligent, wise, insightful, wisecracking, honest, generous; she was all these things and more. She was a treasure.

Yet, of all these things what Judy was most, what her crowning achievement on that brave little head was: Judy was the mother of "Judy's Girls." Nothing ever meant more than that.

Daughter, sister, wife, friend, yes, but mother, that's where her pride and joy was stored.

Judy earned her timeless rest on February 2, 2024.
