She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angie Chancy, parents, John J and Myrtle Young Ray.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Sandra Chancy, son, Greg Chancy, grandchildren, Amanda Vargas, Jennifer Bateman, and David Chancy, great-grandchildren, Ava Brandt and Arthur Bateman, sister, Ann Hampton (Howard), brother, Charles Ray (Deanna), several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Chancy was of the Baptist Faith, she attended Lake Orion High School in Michigan, and she worked for General Motors Manufacturing Plant most of her life. She liked to read, work with flowers, and take care of her fur babies.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
