Travis Scott Obituary
Mr. Scott passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at his home.
Mr. Scott is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Shelby "Jean" Scott; parents, W.T. Scott and Avis Swafford; brothers, Freddie Scott and Wallace Scott; and his sister, Brenda Owens.
Left to cherish the memory of Mr. Scott are his daughters, Deana Smith and Natasha Scott (Amanda); brother, Larry Scott (Amelia); special friends that are chosen family members, Carolyn and Leon Myers; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Scott served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1966-1968. He loved to spend time with his family. Travis was everyone's handyman and enjoyed doing what his wife and family liked. Travis loved Alabama football and he loved taking care of people; Mr. Scott will be so deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
