Judith K. Gallant

Judy K. Gallant, 79 of Marion, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026. Judy was born in Marion, OH on September 22, 1946 to Kenneth and Eloise (Dixon) Gallant and graduated from Harding High School, class of 1964. Judy began her banking career with the Nation City Bank in Marion which later became part of PNC Bank. She started as a teller and after nearly 30 years of service, she retired as a loan officer. She later went to work for Jerry David Jewelers before going to work for Scioto Shoe Mart. Judy enjoyed leisurely biking around the neighborhood, tending to her garden, and, with the change of the seasons also came a change in the decorations, something she always looked forward to. Judy also enjoyed traveling, especially to see her family on the West Coast. Judy always had a kind heart, a cheerful smile, and the perfect shoes for any occasion.

Judy will be dearly missed by her loving partner of many years, Keith Witzel; her sons, Bart (Holly) Witzel, Brent Witzel, and Brandon (Melissa) Witzel; her grandchildren, Paige, Bray, Tori (Brenden), Riley, Jacob, and Haley; her great-grandchild, Bennett; her sister-in-law, Michelle; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends too numerous to mention all by name.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Gallant and Eloise Crane; her stepfather, Joseph Crane, and her brother, David.

Committal Services will take place in the Serenity Garden at Marion Cemetery on Thursday, February 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Kevin Kehn officiating.
