Judith Hampson

Judith Hampson 86, went to meet the Lord on February 18, 2026. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 1st, 1939. Her parents were Frank and Tessie Andersen. Judy was number 2 of 13 children. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her brothers Frank and Bob; and her sisters Gail and Betty. She was married to Norman Hampson, of Villa Park, Illinois on June 14, 1980. She had five children Dawn, John, Dale, Jeff, and Jodi, and granddaughter Madison.

Jude worked at various places in her life, Today Real Estate in Villa Park, Jewel in the corporate office in Melrose Park, the Godiva candy store in Woodfield Mall, and the Long Grove Confectionery. Jude and Norm retired in 2000 and moved up to Adams, WI. Where Judy got involved with her passion of bowling. Jude always wanted to help the community so she got involved with the local hospital and over time became president of the woman's auxiliary at the hospital. Jude and Norm just celebrated 45 years of marriage this past June.

Jude really enjoyed cruising with her sister in-law Kate and brother in-law Emmett. She enjoyed the last cruise with their two daughters, Dawn and Jodi, who were first timers. Jude loved to go on excursions and she loved playing the slot machines. Jude is survived by her husband Norm; children Dawn, John, Dale, Jeff, Jodi; brothers and sisters, Kathleen Garnett, Tessie Richards, Jim Andersen, Trudy Andersen, Kristie Duren, Linda Galigo, Mary Anderson, and Christopher Andersen. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Visitation Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 3- 8 PM at Steuerle Chapel, 15 W Park Blvd, Villa Park, IL 60181. Funeral Friday, February 27, 2026, 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment Mt.
