Judith Ann Hayes

Judith Ann (Palm) Hayes, age 81, of Prospect Heights, IL, passed away on Saturday morning, December 27, 2025. She was born on March 9, 1944, in Chicago, to the late Harold J. "Bud" Palm and Catherine M. (O'Connor) Palm. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Wheaton.
Judy spent 16 years working in various roles for United Airlines at its worldwide headquarters in Chicago. She also served in several administrative positions for more than five years at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all. She was deeply dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and her church, leading the religious education program at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Goodland, IN for a decade. She is survived by her two children: Michael J. (Patricia M.) Hayes of Stamford, CT, and their children, M. Patrick (Kelly) Hayes and Brady M. Hayes; and Matthew R. Hayes of LaGrange, GA. She is also survived by her brother, Gerald Palm of Villa Park, and her sisters: Jane (Bob) Marolda of Littleton, CO; Joan (Kevin) Commare of Spring Grove, IL; and Janet (Dominic) Monaco of Hoffman Estates.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at St. James Catholic Church, 820 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will immediately follow at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, IL. The family would like to thank Sunrise Senior Living of Prospect Heights for the compassionate care given to Judy in her final days.
