Judith A. "Judy" (Glasser) Jefferson, 77, of Kiski Township, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Born February 12, 1948 in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Frank D. Glasser & Mary F. (Seifert) Glasser.
Judy was a 1966 graduate of Elders Ridge High School. She was primarily a homemaker, and worked for a time at Uncle Charley's Sausage.
Judy was a member and former treasurer of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association District #2, and helped at the Armstrong County Conservation League, where she was a recipient of numerous awards.
Judy loved the outdoors, including hunting (and taxidermy) as well as fishing. She also was a skilled baker, known for her delicious Christmas cookies, and was an excellent seamstress. Judy most loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Jefferson, who passed away on September 17, 2023; sister, Debbie Kay Glasser; and her sister-in-law, Alice Jane Glasser.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Kimberly J. (Michael) Belt of Evans City; grandsons, Parker & Ryder; siblings, John R. "Jack" (Holly) Glasser of Washington Township, James E. (Diane) Glasser of Jacksonville, FL, Edwin L. "Lee" Glasser of Elderton, Cindy L. Moore of North Apollo; and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack White officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy's memory to the PA Trappers Association District #2, 142 Pleasure Valley Lane, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.
