Mrs. Wilks was born February 20, 1948 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Robert E. Johnston, Sr. and Vera Mae Ward Redmond. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church where she was involved in various ministries. Mrs. Wilks enjoyed Alabama Football often hosting game day events for family and friends. The beach was her favorite spot to visit and enjoy family time. She loved her family and would go to almost any length to show her love to them. We will continue to build on the Christian legacy she has left for us. She truly walked the walk where her faith was concerned.
