Judith Sharon Bartlett, known affectionately as Judi, passed away on April 28, 2024, in Buncombe County, NC. She was born on November 8, 1953, in Newport, TN. Judi was a dedicated long-term Hab Tech/AFL with Davidson Assisted Family Living, where she cared for others with unwavering compassion and empathy.
Judi's kindness and Christian faith shone brightly through her actions and words. She was described as a special angel by those who knew her well. Her warm personality touched the hearts of many and left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Roy Bartlett; her daughter, Brooke L. Bartlett; her son, Roger Franklin; her sister, Sheila Whitley; her nieces, Wendy and Cindy; her nephew, Travis; as well as her beloved pets, Buttons, Daisy, and Eddie.
Judi is reunited in heaven with her father, Joe L. Moore, mother, Viola Ricker Moore, and brother, James "Jimmy" Moore.
Services to honor and celebrate Judi's life will be held at West Family Funeral Services in Weaverville, NC. A visitation will take place on May 7, 2024, from 12:45 – 1:45 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Reverend Cliff Franks will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hot Springs.
In the wake of Judi's departure from this world, we remember a woman whose love knew no bounds and whose spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
