Judith A. “Judy” Lankey, 72, of Bedford, died on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at UPMC Altoona. She was born on September 25, 1953 in Bedford, a daughter of the late George A. and Dorothy L. (Lafferty) Keller. On October 27, 1976 in Bedford, she married Robert E. Lankey who survives along with a son: Travis Lankey of Bedford; five grandchildren: Owen, Dashea, Alyvia, Tyson, & Theo Lankey; a brother: Edward Keller and wife Ellen of New Paris; numerous nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law: Tom Lankey and wife Marie of Manns Choice, Gary Lankey and wife Theresa of Bedford, and Mark Lankey widower of Barbara of Manns Choice. She was preceded in death by one son, Troy R. Lankey widow of Angie Minner who survives of Bedford.
Judy graduated from Bedford High School, class of 1971 and attended cosmetology school, working as a beautician for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved her family.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. Those wishing can make memorial contributions in Judy’s name to Trinity Lutheran Church, 106 Penn Street, Bedford, PA 15522. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
