Judith Lankey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Grandstrand Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Lindstrom on Jun. 4, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Judy Lankey, who left us peacefully on June 2, 2025 at the age of 82 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Judy was born on June 7th, 1942 in West St. Paul and graduated from Sibley High School in 1960. While growing up, Judy enjoyed spending summers with her family at the cabin in Lindstrom. In 1976, she moved her family from West St. Paul into her new home in Chisago City. She enjoyed working at The Rainbow Café and all of the people she met there. She went on to work at the Windy Acres Assisted Living Home with her loving husband Gary until her retirement. Judy was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church and donated much of her time there. She was also involved with Baby Blanket and other charities as she always put other people first. In addition to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Judy was known for her generosity, positivity, and sense of humor. She loved baking, spending time with her family, having coffee with her friends, and hosting Holidays. She was a positive influence on many and was loved by everybody!
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Lillian and Jerome Evans, son Michael Perron, daughter Ann Marie, grandson Tony Perron, and step-son Aaron Lankey. She is survived by her husband Gary, daughter Sheryl (Carl) Swanson, daughter-in-law Terri Perron, Michelle (Dan) Strese, David (Chanda) Lankey; grandchildren Trisha, Brent, Joseph (Jasmin), Brandon, Amber, Ashley, Kyler, and many great grandchildren.
