Judith E. Lott, age 85 of Bensalem, PA, formerly of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Langhorne, PA. Born in Abington, PA, Mrs. Lott was a lifelong Yardley resident prior to moving to Juniper Village in Bensalem three years ago.
She was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, Class of 1956. Prior to her retirement, Judith had been employed as an accounts payable representative for the I.R.S. in Philadelphia for several years. She loved the beach, especially Long Beach Island, and was a self-described “water buff.” Mrs. Lott was very fond of the outdoors and was an avid snow skier, belonging to the Bucks Mount Ski Club. She was a voracious reader and a world traveler, taking trips to Europe, Australia, Africa and South America, to name a few.
Daughter of the late Harris Tabor and Virginia (Baird) Ellis, wife of the late Ralph M. Lott and grandmother of the late Michael Lott, she is survived by her daughter Kathy Lott-Woltman (Steven) of Levittown, PA, two sons and daughters-in-law John and Kathy Ann Lott of Springhill, TN and Lawrence and Sonya Lott of Whitney, TX, five grandchildren Stephanie, April, Thomas, Samantha and Zachariah, 9 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 6 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067, where friends may gather after 5 PM.
Her interment, along with the interment of her late husband, Ralph, will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940, where military honors will be rendered for Ralph.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Judith’s name, may be made to the American Lung Association (https://actionl.lung.org) or The Wounded Warrior Project, (www.woundedwarriorproject.org), or any cat rescue of your choosing.
