Judith Ann Mahan

Judith Ann Mahan, aged 80, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on February 8, 2026. Born on March 24, 1945, in Mt. Vernon, IL, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ray D. and Audrey F. Gordon. Judith moved to Live Oak in 2007 from Venice, FL and she retired from a dedicated 20-year career at Venice Presbyterian Church School. She was a cherished member of the Westside Baptist Church in Live Oak.

Judith is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Larry L. Mahan, and her daughter, Christina Mahan and Carl Jenkins, all residing in Live Oak. She leaves behind three grandchildren, Robert Lee Jenkins (Maylin), Kenny Wayne Jenkins (Katie), and Matthew Jenkins (Rachel), as well as seven great-grandchildren: Waylon Jenkins, Violet Jenkins, Jace Michael Stover, Aryah Jenkins, Johnnie Morris Jenkins, Clayton Cleveland, and Greyson James.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Mahan, her sister, Ortus Dunbar, and her half-brother, Jerry Higginson.

A visitation will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11th at Daniels Memorial Chapel, followed by a service at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Tim Setzer. Interment will take place in Live Oak Cemetery.
