Judith Ann Moore, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away peacefully at Eudora Medicalodges on October 11, 2025. She was born September 19, 1946 in Louisiana, Missouri to Geneva Beryle Phillips and John Calvin Moore and spent much of her life in St. Louis with her children, Holly Lane Mixon and Eve Lane Marquis. Judy dedicated more than ten years of her life to helping others as a social worker for Catholic Charities. She also worked at the Missouri Botanical Garden, caring for plants in the Japanese garden. Judy’s love of books and art filled her free time and brightened the days of her friends and her children.
She is survived by her brothers, Don Moore and Michael Moore; her daughters, Holly and Eve; and her grandchildren, Eve Marquis and Edge Marquis. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Tom, Jerry, Richard and Jack (Judy’s twin).
What a joy it was to know her and to share in the memories she created. Thank you, Judy, for the wonderful moments you gave us, and may we carry your memory in our hearts until we meet again.
