Judith Mraz

Judith Mraz, age 87, of Shelton, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry Mraz. Judith was born in Bridgeport on December 27, 1937, daughter of the late Vincent James and Mary (Falco) Peluso.
Judith devoted her life to caring for her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed antiquing and knitting blankets.
She is the beloved mother of Henry Mraz, Jr., Vincent Scinto, and Glenn Mraz, cherished grandmother of Jessica, Alexandra, and Sophie, and leaves two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Marion Peluso Kish, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert "Sonny" Peluso, and a sister, Gloria Peluso Mraz.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Monday from 9 to 10:30 AM. Her procession will leave the parlor for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Easton.
