Weddle Funeral Service - StaytonJudith Rose Propp, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at home peacefully on July 30th, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on January 13th, 1940, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Rosemary and Ralph Atwood, Judy, after graduating high school, pursued higher education at both the University of Oregon and Willamette University.
Judy was a gifted artist, known for her oil paintings. Her talent earned her recognition as a champion at an art show in Scottsdale Arizona, where she was honored for presenting the best room full of paintings a testament to her vision and dedication.
She built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and devotion. As a homemaker, Judy poured her heart into raising her family, instilling in them the values of kindness, resilience, and faith.
Judy’s deep love for the Lord was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and relationships with quiet strength and unwavering grace. She cherished: family, rodeos, camping trips, cooking hearty meals, reading, gardening, canning, preserving, and traveling. She also found companionship with her dogs and loved her horses.
Judy was also a dedicated member of PEO and a compassionate volunteer with PLAN adoption services, extending her care and support to children in need. Her generosity and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on those she served.
She is survived by her children, Mikal D. Harp, Michelle D. Johnson, and Jason Trieu; her siblings, Ralph W. Atwood II (Sandy) and Mark T. Atwood; 15 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Leslie Propp.
A memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on September 19, 2025, at 1 PM at Willamina Free Methodist Church, 253 D St, Willamina, OR 97396.
In honor of Judy’s lifelong compassion and commitment to children, memorial contributions may be made to the Palmfield School, PLAN for the Children Humanitarian Aide, 1271 NE Hwy 99 #107, McMinnville, OR 97128.
