Judith Rogers of Tipton, Missouri, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Judith Marlene Smith was born January 23, 1942, in Arthurette, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of George Smith and Alice Pearl McInnis Smith.

On August 31, 1974, in Fernandina Beach, Florida, Judith was married to the love of her life, William N. "Will" Rogers. Together they set out on an amazing adventure that took them to a multitude of destinations most people can only dream of. Including ten years of tropical islands and beaches living on a sailboat and later traveling throughout the United States and Canada in one of the many RV's they owned.

Firm in her faith and love of the Lord, Judith taught Sunday School for many years at the Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Evidence of her teachings were apparent by her many beautifully hand written lesson plans.

Thank you Judith for these Wonderful Memories.

Judith leaves behind her daughter, Cheryl Prather Hicks of Lexington, North Carolina; step-daughters, Cynthia Holem (Robert) of Dunnellon, Florida, and Kimmer Rogers of Maui, Hawaii; sisters, Laureen Brayall, Marsha Golder; brother, Leslie Smith (Myrna), all of New Brunswick, Canada; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Judith was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Barbara Rogers Green; a son-in-law, Fletcher Hicks; and brother-in-laws, William Brayall and Winston Golder.

Her remains will be interred alongside her husband, Will, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri with a Celebration of Life to follow.
