Judith E. "Judy" Niece Smithhart, 80, Camby, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 25, 2022. Judy was born October 10, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Harry Wilford and Nola E. Woodruff Niece. She was a payroll clerk at Hunt Paving Company for 18 years, retiring in 2001. Judy was a former member of the Friendswood Baptist Church on Kentucky Avenue. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her siblings and a daughter, Lisa D. Shaw. Survivors include her son, Jack Allen Coons; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Oakley-Hammond Funeral Home, Moore & Kirk Irvington Chapel, 5342 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46219 with visitation there from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery, Terre Haute, Indiana.
