Judy was born in Cecilia, Louisiana to Hilton and Margaret Trosclair LeBlanc. She was their only daughter, and her parents and older brother adored her. She graduated From Cecilia High School in 1969. She had her first son a few short years later and was an amazing mom to him while her husband served in the military. She then later had another son and daughter. She focused so much of her time and energy on making sure her kids were happy. Judy ended up building a home next door to her parents, so they would be able to watch her children grow up. Her family meant everything to her.
Judy was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 1 bonus grandson that were truly the light of her life. She loved being a granny. She got to witness baseball, football, volleyball games, dance revues, kindergarten, 8th grade, high school, college graduations and so many other things that made her beam with pride. Her sweet puppy, Zoe, was always sure to be by her side every time you visited.
Judy devoted so much time to successfully running her business Credit Merchandise. You could always find her and her best friend, Beth, working, but having fun.
Judy was a feisty and beautiful soul. She was sure to make you laugh and catch you off-guard with her way with words. If she loved you, she loved you with her entire heart. Her love was pure, and your life was blessed if you knew her.
She is survived by her sons, John Bergeron and Corey Bergeron (Patty); her daughter, Callie Berard (Jason); grandchildren, Jordan Bergeron, Layton, Channing and Lydie Berard, Kennedy Bergeron and Ezra Angelle (Natalie); daughter-in-law and main caregiver, Karice Bergeron; sister-in-law, Linda LeBlanc; and her best friend, Beth Stelly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hilton and Margaret Trosclair LeBlanc; brother Tommy LeBlanc; in-laws, Allen and Sable Calais; and the father of her children, Carrol Bergeron.
Her family would like to thank the wonderful ladies that cared for her and made her last few months happy at home: Karice, Janet, LaShaun, Eva, Ashely, and Liz. We appreciate you so much.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that you make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
