Linda was a proud and active resident of Cecilia for her entire life. She was a graduate of Cecilia High School and earned a degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1975. She also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Administration and Supervision, a Master's degree from the School of Education, and completed 30 credits toward her Doctorate at LSU.

She enjoyed dancing at her local dance hall and was an avid listener of Elvis Presley. She cherished attending plays at the Sanger Theater in New Orleans and on Broadway in New York City with friends.
The most important part of her life was spending time on the river party barge, hosting holiday meals, and enjoying special moments with her sisters and children at the beach and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
