Judy Campbell Obituary

Judy was born December 31st, 1951, in Lexington KY, to the late Clarence Ramey Jr. and Gladys (Brock) Ramey. She graduated from Lafeyette High in 1969 and wed her lifelong companion and husband John Steve Campbell on October 4th of 1969. She loved her career with the Madison County Board of Education working with children as a bus driver.
She was a devout member of the Pony Express Holiness church. Judy spent her life sharing the love of Christ through her music. She traveled near and far to sing for the sick, prison ministries, weddings, and Funerals.
Judy was a servant to her fellow man and community; she opened her heart and home to countless foster children and families over her life. She had a sense of wonder for God's creations and loved to share her passion for travel with anyone willing to go. She loved to take her family and friends on new adventures, she believed that everyone should see the ocean and if you had not it would be her mission to get you there.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents Clarence Ramey Jr. and Gladys (Brock) Ramey, her beloved son Joseph Campbell.
She is survived by her Husband John Steve Campbell of Berea KY, her sons, Christian Campbell of Berea KY, Joshua Campbell of Pikeville KY, Devon (Zaccary) Campbell of Berea KY, Cody Campbell of Camarillo CA, and daughter, Emma Campbell of Berea KY. Her Brothers and Sisters, Linda (Rick) Wright of Painstville, KY, Danny Ramey of Berea KY, Pamela (Clifton) Rose of Berea and David Ramey of Berea. Her Grandchildren, Elysha Campbell, Trystin Campbell, Cooper Campbell, and Great Grandbaby Stetson Campbell. Many Nieces, Nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation for Judy will be Tuesday, July 9th, 2024, from 5-8 pm at Davis and Powell Funeral Home, funeral services will be Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, at 1:00 pm also at the funeral home with Bro. Artie Alexander officiating. Entombment will follow in the Berea Cemetery Mausoleum.
