Judy Rae Daniel

Judy Rae Daniel, age 83, of Albion, Oklahoma, entered into the gates of Heaven on November 6, 2025 at home with her family by her side. Judy was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on July 13, 1942 to Monte and Maybelle (Ringquist) Williams.
Judy was raised in Fargo, North Dakota, where she attended St. Luke's School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse in 1963. Judy's love of nursing was displayed in her compassion and care that she gave to all of her patients. Her fondest memories of her nursing career were the years that she worked at Lewis Memorial Hospital in Yosemite National Park. Judy retired in 2018
after 55 years of being a Registered Nurse, with her last 45 years working for Indian Health Services and Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Judy's greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished every moment she got to spend with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, Gaither Gospel music, David Phelps music, Dwight Yoakam, and Dulcimer's, but she loved her yard sales.
Judy is survived by her children; Dany and Kimberly Daniel of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, their children, Joshua, Lydia, Josiah, and Christopher Daniel. Lisa and Daniel Craig of Whitesboro, Oklahoma, their children Samantha and fianc Lewis Dodson, Sadie, LaShay, Annabel Craig. Mamie and Richard Thompson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, their children, Alicia and Al Carmichael, Adam and Jaylea Daniel and their daughter Lucy, Andrew and Emma Daniel, Amanda Daniel, Adeline Daniel, and Roxanne Thompson. Mike and Dawn Daniel of Wichita Falls, Texas, their children Julia, Caleb, Joshua, Autumn, Summer, Justin, Jacob, and Toby Daniel. She also leaves behind her lifelong friends, Marilyn Davis and Linda Cyzy, her dearest friend, Eva Waymire, and her cherished companion and furry friend, Rosie, who was a constant comfort to her for the last two years.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Monte and Maybelle Williams, her son, David Daniel, and granddaughter, Sarah Daniel.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons;
Adam Daniel, Andrew Daniel, Joshua Daniel, Caleb Daniel, Joshua Daniel, and Lewis Dodson.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Kiamichi Valley Ministerial Alliance food bank.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina.
Services will be on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 1:00PM at Talihina First Baptist Church with Bro. Dany Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
