Judy Faye Houser of Caddo, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the age of 73. She was born on Saturday, February 9, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Wanda Faye (Tucker) and Andy Vestal Lackey.
Although she was residing in Lexington, Oklahoma, she was a longtime resident of Bryan County. She married her husband Kenneth Houser on October 10, 1970 in Atoka, Oklahoma.
When she was able, she enjoyed dancing. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren and making home videos with them. She loved to be around her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Kenneth Houser; sister Jackie Marlow and husband Troy Wayne; and sister-in-law Pon Lackey.
Survivors include her son Jason Houser and wife Angela or Norman, Oklahoma; daughter Sharrisa Lathum and husband Tim of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren Ashton Houser, Kolby Houser, Kelsey Lathum, Damian "Goose" Lathum and wife Chelsea; great grandchild Alice; brothers Larry Lackey of McAlester, Oklahoma, Kenney Lackey and wife Lesa of Caney, Oklahoma, Terry Lackey and wife Melissa of Caney, Oklahoma; sisters Gayla Wingo and husband Jimmy of Caney, Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
A family visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, April 18, 2025 at The Gordon Center, 305 N. 2nd Ave. Durant, Oklahoma.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at The Gordon Center, 305 N. 2nd Ave. Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside service will follow at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Damian "Goose" Lathum, Tim Lathum, Ashton Houser, and Kolby Houser will serve as pallbearers.
