Obituary published on Legacy.com by Forest Meadows Funeral Home - Gainesville on Mar. 11, 2026.
Judy Arlene Lee Lockerman

Judy Lockerman, of Duluth, GA, went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2026 after a long battle with cancer and lung disease caused by the chemotherapy drugs. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Judy was born in Live Oak, Florida on September 1, 1952, to Foye Aubrey Lee and Susie Pauline Lee. She lived in O'Brien, FL until the family moved to Gainesville in 1966. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1970 and retired in 2000 after working 30 years at the University of Florida. She moved to Duluth, GA in 2000.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Joann Lee, and her brothers Tommy Lee, Lanny Lee, and Jimmy Lee.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Gregory "Garry" Lockerman, her daughter Jessica Parrish (Scott), her son Jeffrey Lockerman, granddaughter Catelyn Parrish, grandsons Colton Parrish (Skylar) and Chase Parrish, along with her sister Linda McCallum, brothers Jerald Lee (Judy) and Ronnie Lee (Kris), and numerous nieces and nephews. Judy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, her family's holiday gatherings, going to the beach, visiting waterfalls, watching sunsets, the changing leaves, and snow.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Meadows Cemetery West on Saturday, March 21 at 12:00 PM. Services are entrusted to Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
