Mrs. Judy Delaine Jeffcoat Lucas, 82, entered into rest on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Left to cherish Judy's memories are her daughter, Ava Lucas Jackson and her husband Jeffrey, grandchildren: Jeremy Alan Jackson and his wife Reihannon and Lindsey Jackson Darby and her husband Brandon, great grandchildren: Chloe Marie Jackson, Landon Carter Darby, and Kyler Marie Darby, sisters-in-law, Thelma Roebuck and Bunnie Jeffcoat, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Furman Lucas, they were married for 57 years until his passing in 2020. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Wylie Quitman "Slick" Jeffcoat and Ollie Smith Jeffcoat, her son, Kenny Maxie Lucas, and her siblings: Ronald (Betty) Jeffcoat, "Cork" (Mazie) Jeffcoat, Frank (Wilma) Jeffcoat, Theron Jeffcoat, and Huey Jeffcoat.

Mrs. Judy was a member of Pelion Church of the Nazarene. A hard worker, she was the owner and operator of Judy's Flag Car Service. Mrs. Judy had a personality that was unmatched. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be forever missed and loved.

Visitation will be 11 am – 12 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Pelion Church of the Nazarene. A Service Celebrating Mrs. Judy's life will follow at 12 p.m. (High Noon) also in the church sanctuary. In honor of Mrs. Judy, the family asks that you wear her favorite color, purple.

No flowers please, to honor Mrs. Judy's life, donations may be made to the Lisa Rucker Memorial Fund.

The Lucas family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Lexington Medical Center Extended Care – Lexington Trace and MSA Hospice for the care given to Mrs. Judy.
