Judy Utter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, Craven Chapel on Dec. 21, 2024.
Judy Kay Utter, age 83 of Mount Gilead, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Morrow Manor Nursing Center.
She was born on February 2, 1941 to Alvie and Ethel (Amsbaugh) Shrader in Bellville, OH.
Judy was a woman of many talents. She loved to bake, and made cakes and pies for some of the local restaurants in Galion. Her homemade beef and noodles will be famous among her family and friends, making the noodles from scratch. She also made candy with her family. One of her favorite things was to go antique shopping with her late husband, Larmen.
Most cherished to Judy was her family. Her great grandchildren held a special place in her heart, though her whole family was truly her world.
Left to cherish Judy's memory are children: Carolyn Garverick, Annette Kepling, Becky Gaitten, and Mike Smith; 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Harris, Linda Squires, Robert Shrader and Richard Shrader; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvie and Ethel; grandchild, Cody; and siblings Betty Greenwalt, Joyce Reamsnider, Dora Vermillion and Donna Lepold.
