Jule Marie Cwik

Jule Marie Cwik, age 99+ of Ocala, Florida, made her transition to eternal life on
June 27, 2025 while living at her daughter's home in Ocala.
Jule was born in Chicago, Illinois to John Talaska and Tillie Czajka Talaska on
December 1, 1925. She graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy, a
boarding school in Davenport, Iowa in June 1944. She worked as an office assistant
in Chicago before marrying her sweetheart, Chester Cwik on June 1, 1946.
She gave birth to Charlene and Paul before the family moved to South Bend
Indiana in 1951. While there, two more joined the family, John and Tom. In 1963,
the family was transferred to Chanute, Kansas while Chester managed a window
manufacturing company. 1965 found the family being transferred again, this time
to Ocala Florida and daughter Carol joined the family that year.
She worked with Chester and John as they started a window repair company which
John later grew into Custom Window Systems. She worked with the Marion County
School Board in the book depository for 15 years before retiring.
Jule loved flowers and gardening and was active in the Pioneer Garden Club where
she was treasurer for many years. She was active with the Amaesus Group at
Blessed Trinity. She was the first member of the Marion County Rose Society and
later became a Master Gardener with 30 years of service.
Jule is survived by her daughter Charlene (John) Earl. her grandson Anthony
(Jeannette) Earl and their son Anakin, and granddaughter Christine (Scott)
Zehngraff and their children Jule and Eric. Son Paul (Karen) Cwik, son John
(Patricia Champeau) Cwik, and son Thomas (Denise) Cwik and their children Chase,
Kyle and Taylor.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Chester and their daughter
Carol.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 10AM at Blessed Trinity Catholic
Church with Father Bill Burns presiding. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd
Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
