Obituary published on Legacy.com by Martin & Hightower Funeral Home - Carrollton on Dec. 10, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we share that Juli Little Sharpe left this world on December 8, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on May 7, 1966, in
East Point, Georgia, Juli grew into a woman whose brilliance, kindness, and creativity left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted daughter, a loving mother, a gifted teacher, and a friend who showed up with warmth and, often, homemade bread when it mattered most.
Juli's love of learning began early and never left her. A proud graduate of Central High School, she earned the title of valedictorian of the class of 1983, a testament to the determination and curiosity that have shaped her life. She went on to earn a master's degree in mathematics from West Georgia College, embracing a path that would become her life's calling.
For many years, Juli poured her heart into the Carroll County School System, serving as the department head of Mathematics at both Central High School and Mt. Zion High School. She was more than a teacher; she was a mentor, a problem-solver, and the person students returned to years later to share their successes. Her classroom was a place where numbers made sense, confidence grew, and every student felt seen.
Outside of work, Juli's life was stitched together with creativity and joy. She loved baking breads and desserts, the kind of treats that filled a kitchen with warmth and brought people together. She eagerly swapped recipes and perfected new creations; each one made with patience and love. Her hands were rarely idle, whether she was crafting wreaths, scrapbooking, or capturing the perfect photograph. Juli found beauty in everyday moments and preserved them with intention.
Faith anchored her life. Juli found purpose in serving her community, supporting others, and cultivating the quiet strength that guided her through every season of life.
Among her greatest blessings were her children. She leaves behind her cherished son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Meghan Williams, and her loving daughter, Kathleen Sharpe. Their lives, and the countless former students and friends she touched, will carry forward the lessons, love, and encouragement she so generously shared.
Juli was preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel T. "Danny" Sharpe III; her father, Howard Little; and her mother, Betty Hornsby Little.
Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced in the coming days by Martin & Hightower Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Carroll County Animal Shelter, 251 Automation Drive,
Carrollton, GA 30117. Supporting the shelter is a meaningful way to honor Juli's compassionate spirit and her lifelong love for animals.
As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the remarkable life she lived; a life filled with learning, laughter, creativity, and unwavering love. Juli's warmth, compassion, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed, yet her story will continue to unfold in the lives of those she shaped so beautifully.
