Robert "Bobby" Wise

Robert "Bobby" Wise, passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on November 3, 1963, to William "Bill" Wise and the late Maxine Caldwell Kesel.
Bobby's work in the construction industry was a testament to his knack for fixing things, a passion that endured even after he became disabled. He was never one to shy away from offering assistance, whether it was mending a neighbor's fence or troubleshooting an ailment in someone's home. His generous spirit shone brightest in the small acts of kindness that defined his daily life.
A true lover of speed, Bobby could often be found at the racetrack, reveling in the excitement of NASCAR. His enthusiasm for fast cars and motorcycles reflected his adventurous nature, as he enjoyed both driving and working on these machines, sharing his knowledge and joy with everyone around him.
A faithful Christian, Bobby found solace in his faith in Jesus Christ, often tuning into the Glenloch services during his illness. His unwavering faith provided him strength and comfort throughout his life, and he inspired his family and friends to embrace the same faith.
In addition to his father, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his significant other, Cheryl Simpson; his daughter, Elaine Sweeting (Jonathan); step-children, Barry James Steele, Jr (Bernadette). and Samantha Nicole Steele (William); grandchildren, Jaiden Meadows, Ethan Steele, Lexi Walters, Waylon Steele, and Maria Griffis; great-grandchildren, Rozalin and Tillie; sisters, Wendy Muse and Connie Cotter; and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Kesel, and his brother, Billy Wise.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Glenloch Baptist Church at 10:00 AM with Pastor Neil Awbrey officiating. Bobby's life was marked by the love he shared with his family and friends, and his presence will be missed by all who knew him.
