Julia Alexson Obituary
On Saturday, January 27, 2024 Julia Alexson of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 53 years.
Julia will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Michael William Mallich (Kristine Geng)of Calgary; niece, Kaylee Geng; uncle, Alex Korecky of Calgary; and cousins, Nina Collier (Jason Collier), Sasha Korecky, Helen Alexson all of Calgary. She is predeceased by her mother, Marie Alexson; stepfather, William Melvin Mallich; and father, George Alexson.
Julia was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She attended Mount Royal College to become a nurse, following the footsteps of her mother and grandmother. Just like her mother and grandmother, Julia shared her passion for helping people. She was the life of the party, making everyone feel welcome and accepted. Julia's smile could light up any room she walked into. She will truly be missed by all who knew her and remembered for her charisma.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2023 at Pierson's Funeral Chapel, 4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta. Cremation has taken place at Foothills Crematorium. If one so desires, memorials in Julia's memory may be made directly to the Meow Foundation, https://meowfoundation.com/
