Reginald "Reg" Allen Ell

Reginald "Reg" Allen Ell passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, at age of 82 years.

Reg was born on October 10, 1942 in Longueuil, QC. Reg was the second born of seven siblings. He worked in various fields over his lifetime, as an automotive painter, owner of a Red Rooster Convenience Store and finally working and retiring as a truck driver with Byers Transport. 

He was predeceased by his wife Louise with whom he shared 18 happy years of marriage. He loved being a grandpa and was always involved in his grandkids lives. We will remember him for his unwavering support and love of family. Reg enjoyed travelling with family, hiking, cheering on the Calgary Hitmen and playing cards, where he made many great friends.

Reg will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his son, Richard (Karleen) Ell; granddaughters Jordynn (Braeden) and Emma; as well as all of his extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held for Reginald at Pierson's Funeral Service (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
