It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julia Bennett, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, on Aug. 8th, 2024. Born to Ester & George Williams on April 18th, 1955. Julia lived a life filled with love, and unwavering strength. As a Mother, Julia was the heart of our family. She nurtured us, guiding us through life's challenges with wisdom. Her laughter, warmth, and selflessness will forever echo in our hearts. She was our rock, and our greatest champion. As a Sister, Julia was a beacon of love. She leaves behind memories of joy, shared secrets, and deep, abiding love. As a Grandmother, she brought joy and wonder to the lives of all her grandchildren. Her stories, her hugs, and the twinkle in her eye made every moment spent with her magical. She had a special way of making each grandchild feel uniquely loved, passing down traditions and values that will be cherished for generations to come. As a Friend, Julia was a source of light and inspiration. Her friendships were marked by loyalty, laughter, and deep connections. Her presence was a gift, her advice invaluable, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her. Julia was a woman of great strength, resilience, and kindness. She touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, wisdom, and much more. Though we are heartbroken by her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and that her spirit will continue to live on in the memories and hearts of those she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Nolan Bennett, 2 daughters, 2 sons, 9 grandkids, 4 sisters, 3 brothers who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by 1 sister, 1 brother. Children: Samantha Reed, Rebekah Prevost, Steven Harris, Joseph Harris. Grandkids: Evelynn, Anna, Olivia (Fynlee), Ocean, Zaide, Kaden, Isaac, Asher, Jacen. Sisters: Cindy (passed on) Faye, Cathy, Lannett, Lisa. Brothers: Wayne (passed on) David, Allen, Eddie.
A celebration of Julia’s life will be held on Sept. 7th at: Events at Serenity 33135 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA 70706 From 1pm - 3pm.
Rest in peace Momma. Your love and light will guide us always.
