Julia Estrada, nee Fernandez, 90, of Chicago and of the Philippines passed away on February 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Ruperto. A Mama to all - Loving mother to Alegria (Jansel Bacerdo), Eligio, Teodore (Celedonia), and Jessica. Adored grandmother of Maxine (Alex Angeles), Kristin (William Flatley), Philip, Eli (Adrianna), Krystle (Daniel Allen), Adrianne (Nelson Ramos), Samantha (Rando Rawdhetubhai), Khristian (Daniela), Karl, TeMeka, Dedrick and Tyler and proud great-grandmother of 11. Dear sister of Benita (Reynaldo Mayo) and her late siblings Macario (Nancy), Cipriana, Victoria (Jesus Paragas), Felix, Fe (Saturnino Bautista), Espiranza, Dionisia (Vivencio Battung) and Victorio (Eva). She will be missed by many friends and family. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th from 3-8pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N Cicero Ave., Chicago IL 60646. Friends and family will meet at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 2215 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60618, on Saturday, March 1st for a funeral mass at 10am. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to the family to be provided as scholarships for students in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan Philippines in the name of Julia Estrada.
