Julia Harris Obituary
Julia Carolyn Harris (Rose), age 94, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was born in McDermott, OH on July 26, 1930 to the late James and Mabel Rose.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Otis E. Harris; her sister, Anna Davis and her brother, Floyd Rose.
She is survived by her children, Beverly Schneider, Barbara Campbell, Daniel Koch, Beth Dunn, John Harris, Charlotte Adkins and Debbie Reed; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Julia loved Marion's Pizza and Ester-Price candy. She enjoyed watching Westerns but her favorite movie was Breakfast at Tiffany's. She always wanted to stand in front of Tiffany's in New York and enjoy coffee and a donut.
Julia will be remembered for her Peanut Butter Fudge that was the best in the world.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 12:30pm - 1:30pm with services to follow all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Julia will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
