Mrs. Julia (Judy) Elks Everett, 84, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, at 2:30 PM, officiated by Pastor Michael Bayer in Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Judy, a native of Pitt County, was the daughter of the late Henry and Julie Stocks Elks.

Judy was employed with Fernie Clark Beauty Shop in Blackjack for a number of years; and was an active member of the 15th Street Church of God in Washington. She enjoyed Christmastime with her family.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Everett; daughter, Judy Annette Stallings; sisters, Pauline Ross, Leona Ross, and Elizabeth Godley; brothers, William Elks, James Elks, and Jimmy Elks.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Manning and husband, Tony of Stokes; son, Gary Stallings and wife, Rita of Chocowinity; grandchildren, Kevin Manning and wife, Crystal of Stokes, Scotty Manning and wife, Krystal of Stokes, Bradley Stallings of Greenville, Kristy Call and husband, Robert of Newport, B. J. Bunting of Clayton, and Tammy House of Winterville; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Irene Stallings Perry, Dorothy Strickland, and Jean Farmer.

Memorial contributions may be made in Judy's name to the 15th Street Church of God, 336 E. 15th Street, Washington, NC 27889.
