Julia Markham Obituary
Mrs. Julia F. Markham, age 93 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at American House Senior Living in Hendersonville. Graveside services for Mrs. Markham will be conducted on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11AM in Oakwood Cemetery.
She was born October 13, 1931, in Union City, TN; the daughter of the late W. E. & Litty B. Dunnyhue Luther. She worked as a Senior Loan Officer with Eastern Airlines for 25 years before her retirement. Julia was a member of Trenton First Assembly and served as a greeter for 15 years.
Mrs. Markham is survived by two daughters, Beverly Gates (Roger), Linda Bird (John); sister, Wanda White; two grandchildren, Tara Davis Sanchez, Scott McAllister (Robin); five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hollis Aaron Markham; and her parents.
Visitation with family and friends will begin Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10AM to 10:45AM at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Julia F. Markham.
