Julian Urbina was taken from this life far too soon at the age of 30, on January 8, 2024. He was born in Huntsville, Texas on November 12, 1993, to his parents Bartolo and Maria Urbina.
Growing up, there were many activities and hobbies that Julian loved. He loved the outdoors and could be found hunting and fishing often. He liked to go off-roading and was a paintball enthusiast as well. Julian loved to play volleyball and kickball with the family and would love to challenge anyone at cornhole. He also loved to play Mexican train dominoes and poker, along with a few shots of Tequila. Julian will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Especially his wife and daughters.
His is preceded in death by his father Bartolo Urbina, and family Adrian Guevara, Felix Alvarado, Jr. and Humberto Castillo. He is survived by his mother Maria Petra Hernandez Urbina; his loving wife Janira Munoz-Santos Urbina; daughters Julissa and Janice Urbina; siblings Adriana Urbina (Juan Castillo), Alma Alvarado (Felix, Sr.), Gloria Garcia (Max), Martha Urbina (Miguel Navarette), Imelda Urbina (Sabas Castillo), Doroteo Urbina (Dieana Rivas), Rosa Guevara, Beatriz Polanco (Enrique Polanco), Lucero Urbina, Victor Urbina (Carmen Flores), Raquel Brown (Eddie Brown), and Esequiel Urbina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Julian will lie in state on Friday January 12, 2024, from 8:00 AM till 8:00 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, with a rosary beginning at 6:00 PM. Services will take place on Saturday January 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home as well. He will be laid to rest at Mayes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery following his services. Memorial condolences may be made at www.shmfh.com.
