Julie Brown-Foland, 66, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Julie was born on Valentines Day, February 14, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa. Growing up, she attended Waukee High School and graduated in 1976. She dedicated many years to the hospitality industry, working as a server at several restaurants in the Des Moines Area. She later married Craig Leroy Foland at the Taylor County Courthouse.
Julie was always known to be an excellent cook. Always making wonderful, fresh meals prepared from vegetables from her garden. She and Craig took great pride in caring for their garden, working hard to have a bountiful harvest each and every year. Julie also enjoyed talking and getting to know people.
