Julie Ann Cerar, age 67, of Galion passed away Saturday February 15, 2025 at Mill Creek Nursing and Rehab in Galion.
Born December 19, 1957 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Janice (Stoneking) Cannon. She married Robert F. Cerar and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2020.
She was a graduate of Galion High School and the North Central Technical College. She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship in Mount Gilead and when growing up was a member of the former St. Mark United Methodist Church in Galion. She retired from Avita Galion Hospital where she worked in registration. She enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Julie is survived by her son Robert D. (Leeann Ardinger) Cerar, four grandchildren: Ty, Scarlet, Kayley and Daniel Cerar, brothers, Kenneth "Kip" Cannon and Daniel (Kim) Cannon, brother-in-law Greg Walter, close friends Penny and Patty Clevenger and her four legged friends: Casper, Pip and Taz.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Ann Cerar and her sister Sherry Walter.
The family plans a celebration of life this summer at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 and will announce it via the funeral home website.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116.
