Julie Csernits, a devoted mom, sister, and friend passed away in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan on March 9, 2026 at the age of 59.

Julie was born July 4, 1966 in Quantico, Virginia to Stanley and Ellen Pasieka. She came into this world like the firework she was-bright and feisty with the gift of drive and perseverance. She grew up in Beverly Hills, Michigan and graduated from Groves High School in 1983. She continued her education earning a B.S. at Michigan State University from the prestigious James Madison College. While at MSU she was an active member of Delta Gamma sorority, and maintained relationships with her beloved sorority sisters over 40 years. She added to her education at Walsh College earning an MBA.

Professionally, Julie was employed at National Bank of Detroit, and most recently as VP at JP Morgan Chase working in several capacities.

Family was at the center of Julie's life. She was the proud mother of Maxwell Jacob Barry. She was her son's biggest fan, always enjoying the time she spent with him. She supported him through his growing up years into adulthood encouraging him to always be the best he could be.

She loved to read, was a Master Gardner and enjoyed travel and worldly experiences both in life and with her family. She was proud to call Elk Rapids, Michigan her second home, and spend many years enjoying life on Lake Michigan with friends and family.

Julie will be deeply missed by her son Maxwell Barry, her sister Susan Pasieka (Christopher) Zayac and her parents, Stanley and Ellen Pasieka. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Csernits. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 10:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church Church, 32340 Pierce Street, Beverly Hills, Michigan.
