It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julie Andrew Graham Magee, of
Pensacola, Florida, who left us on June 2, 2024, at the age of 58. Julie's life was a testament to strength, love, and unyielding spirit.
Born on April 14, 1966, in
San Jose, California, Julie was a beacon of generosity and compassion. Her sharp wit and unique sense of humor brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Julie always found a way to lift the spirits of those around her, turning even the darkest moments into opportunities for connection and light-heartedness. Julie was known for her remarkable resilience.
Julie was the proud mother of three children who were the center of her world. In recent years, Julie dedicated herself to caring for her mother, our Nana, Carmelita Hart. Her selflessness and unwavering devotion during this time were a classic example of her boundless love and compassion. This period, though challenging, was marked by moments of deep connection and tender care, highlighting Julie's extraordinary capacity for giving.
Music was one of Julie's great passions. Whether she was singing along to her favorite songs or sharing a new song with her loved ones, her life had a soundtrack that was rich and varied. Her love for music illustrated her vibrant personality and zest for life. Julie also found joy in bowling, roller skating, playing racquetball, groundskeeping, and cooking. A talented cook, Julie's recipes, much like her, were infused with love and care, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of sharing her table. Additionally, Julie had a deep love for dogs. Her canine companions were a source of comfort and companionship, reflecting the nurturing and loving nature that defined her.
Julie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Francis Martinez Eylicio; her mother, Carmelita Hart; her stepfather, Schuyler Hart; and her father William "Billy" Graham.
Julie is survived by her three children, Carmelita Harbeson, Bailey Hart, and Coleson Magee; her beloved sisters, Sandra Brown and Debra Anderson; her nephews Schuyler Hart and Tristan Anderson; her granddaughter Skylar Hart; Carmelita's father, Arthur Harbeson; and many other family and friends with whom she shared countless memories.
In remembering Julie, we celebrate a life lived with courage, strength, and generosity. Though her time with us was cut short, the impact she had on our lives will endure. We take comfort in knowing that her love and laughter will continue to resonate in our hearts forever.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Lewis Funeral Home Pace Chapel, 4777 West Spencer Field Road,
