Julie Kathleen McGuire

Julie Kathleen McGuire, 77, of Belton, Texas, formerly of Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Julie was what one might call a spitfire, with her sass and stubborness. Her life was filled with family, friendship, and joy in the little things. She was the former owner and operator of the Enchantment Lodge. She loved spending her Wednesday nights watching all of the Chicago TV series, playing bingo with friends, and sharing a good chicken chow mein meal, followed by chocolate chip ice cream with her family. Her laughter, generosity, and down-to-earth spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Julie is survived by her brother John B McGuire, her sons, Johnnie Frank Gabbert Jr. and Tony McGuire; daughters-in-law, Regina Gabbert, Elena Gabbert-Montanez, and Andrea McGuire; grandchildren, Christopher Gabbert, Carrie Zielinski, Colleen Molina, Nicole Gabbert-Montanez, Camila Gabbert-Montanez, Ashley McGuire, and Brittney Garcia; along with many beloved great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marlene, and her sisters, Linda and Kathy. Julie's family finds comfort in knowing she has been reunited with them.
